Mr Shaw holds a full IELTS CheckTest for male candidates and can arrange one for you.

The test is on Saturday mornings except for Speaking, which is on Mondays. Face to face feedback is ready by the following Saturday.

If you would like the feedback urgently, this can also be arranged for the Monday straight after the Speaking session!

There is a maximum capacity of 4 candidates per CheckTest session so you need to book early!

ILETS or IELTS?

There is a common mistake in the way this acronym is being pronounced by many people in Saudi Arabia.

So what is the answer? Is the test ILETS? or is it IELTS?

Still can’t see the difference?

The first says I-L-E-T-S

The second: I-E-L-T-S

Answer: International English Language Testing System

Tip: On the day of Speaking exam, whether in Jeddah or elsewhere, don’t tell your examiner that you chose to do the ILETS for this or that reason! He (or she) will immediately spot that you do not even know the name of your exam. So take note!
